Book of Love is a contemporary edition of the Quran whose design highlights one of its central themes — divine mercy and love between God and humanity.

Without altering a single word of the sacred text, the project refines form, layout, materials, and visual language in order to offer a calm and focused reading experience. The result is a book that invites quiet reflection and openness — a Quran that allows its words to stand without distraction.

For many people today, approaching the Quran can feel visually or materially distant. In some cases, the richness of traditional presentation may feel unfamiliar to readers from different backgrounds. The distance is not created by the text, but by the quiet fear of beginning — the fear of not knowing enough, of not being worthy, of not approaching it correctly. The message of divine mercy remains universal. Through thoughtful design, more people may feel gently invited to open the book and engage with its guidance — for the Quran does not stand distant; it awaits its reader with love and mercy.

The Interior

Timeline

2024
We began teaching the Quran, focusing on recitation and understanding. Through this work, we saw a clear need for a more accessible and thoughtfully designed edition.
2025
Deep design exploration, material research, and extensive R&D. Prototyping multiple formats, testing paper, binding, and finishes to ensure the book feels right in the hands and lasts for generations.
2026
Production and launch of the first edition. Fulfillment to backers, global shipping, and the beginning of Book of Love as a living, growing project.
